"Toto je první fotografie z prvního amerického Vogue focení oblečení Givenchy, pořízená v našem obývacím pokoji, bývalé stodole v Connecticutu. Bettina má na sobě zelenomodré (vypadá téměř jako moře), vlnící se šaty se třpytkami a korálky, vyšívané nejlepšíma rukama v Paříži. Je to umění, víte. Byly možná tři domy, které dělaly třpytky a korálky pro couture. Bohužel, to bylo tehdy umírající umění a teď zbyl už jen jeden dům. Capelet vypadá jako čepec sester lásky. Givenchy z něj udělal top.
