The skyline backdrop behind Miles on that April night gives the whole image a late-80s grit that feels almost cinematic, and the color saturation is rich without being washed out. It’s now the centerpiece of my music room, and I catch myself staring at it more than I’d like to admit.

You can almost feel the humidity and smoke of that 1988 club just from the skyline glow behind him; the print captures the tension in his posture perfectly. It’s exactly the kind of image that makes you stop and stare for a minute.
