The grain on this black-and-white shot is gorgeous, and you can almost hear her mid-phrase from the way she's leaning into the mic. Hung it next to my record shelf and it ties the whole corner together.
The lighting in this shot captures her mid-song with such warmth that you can almost hear the room. It's a beautiful piece of history, and the print quality does the 1949 atmosphere real justice.
The print quality is solid for the price, though the paper feels a bit thinner than I'd like for framing. You can still make out fine details like the mic stand and the crowd's faces in the background, which is impressive for a 1949 shot. Happy with it overall.
