The Beach Boys hit the slopes

In the preparation for the forthcoming Smile album Guy Webster photographed the band reportage style in nature (as he did with the Rolling Stones, the Mamas & the Papas and others) to evoke that Southern California vibe. In this image he ironically shot The Beach Boys in the snowy hills of Idyllwild, California. This shoot became an instant classic by one of the legendary music photographers of all time.
