This one is from a small show at The Metro Theater in Sydney, Australia where they performed with The Dead Daisies. Australian super band, that I was working for at that time. I love shooting at small venues as you can capture those up close and personal moments like this one.
The shot’s got that gritty stage feel you’d expect from a tiny venue, and you can almost hear the crowd between the riffs. Dead Daisies’ set gets a nice nod too, which I appreciate as a fan.
This captures the energy of that night perfectly. The low-light tones from the Metro Theater bring back the vibe of being right up front with the band.
