O grupo de rock Blondie era uma parte quintessencial da cena cultural de Nova Iorque. Decidi fotografar no Chelsea Hotel como um contexto apropriado. Debbie Harry chegou atrasada e de mau humor, e vi-me obrigado a fazer algum trabalho de 'integração do grupo'. Em última análise, acabámos por fotografar no exterior, em telhados e numa varanda que receava que desabasse a qualquer momento. Apesar do início atribulado, a Debbie superou as expectativas e acabámos por trabalhar harmoniosamente em conjunto, criando imagens muito fortes. -- Norman Seeff
