The graininess of the black-and-white film gives it this raw 1986 feel that a glossy reprint just wouldn't have. Hung it above my turntable and the dynamic pose pulls the whole corner together.

The black-and-white print really captures that bold 1986 hip-hop energy, and the pose feels dynamic without being overdone. I just wish the photo was a touch larger, since the framing makes it better suited for a desk than a wall.

The pose and the 80s streetwear come through nicely, but the print itself looks a bit flat compared to what I hoped for from a black-and-white shot. Good for framing in a smaller space, though honestly I expected a crisper image for the price.
