Got this framed for my dad, who’s a huge Deadhead, and he just stared at it for a solid minute before saying anything. The way Ron Rakow caught Jerry and Bob mid-song in that open field feels so alive, like you’re right there in ’67. Print quality is crisp and the black-and-white tones really pop.
The contrast and grain in this print really bring out the energy of that 1967 Golden Gate Park show, and the detail in Garcia's guitar work is sharp without losing the vintage feel. Ron Rakow captured a moment that feels both intimate and massive, and it's become the centerpiece of my music room.
