The photographer really captured the energy of that jump—the grain and contrast in this black-and-white print make it feel like you're standing right there in Northern California in '72. I've been framing it in my office and can't stop looking at the detail in Knievel's pose.
The shot of Knievel mid-jump is sharper than I expected for a 1972 photo, and the black-and-white tones give it a great vintage feel on my wall. Only gripe is the print arrived with a slight curl at one corner, but it flattened out fine after a day under a book.
The black-and-white print quality is decent, but it arrived with a small crease in the bottom left corner that wasn't mentioned in the listing. The 1972 NorCal shot itself is a cool piece of history, just wish the paper stock felt a bit sturdier.
